Concert Attire:
May 12: Sixth Grade
and Show Choirs
Both Choirs – arrive
6pm May 12 and go to the music room to warm up (Students who are also
in band, check in with Mrs. Harrison and then go to where Mrs. Moth
designates for you to meet)
Sixth Grade Choir:
A combination of dressy black, red and white that you already own
[clothing must meet the free dress guidelines in the school handbook!].
Students may wear all black, all red, all white, or some combination of
the three colors. No writing or slogans on clothing. Wear appropriate
school shoes “comfortable (size appropriate). . . For safety reasons,
sandals, open toed shoes, and shoes without a closed heel of any type
are prohibited.” In addition, inappropriate shoes make the choreography
virtually impossible.
If you do not
already own anything that is dressy black and white, the school uniform
(without leggings or sweatshirts) is also fine. If you have questions,
Email Mrs. Harrison at bharrison@stmm.org
Show Choir:
The show choir
will open the concert wearing fun street clothes…bright colored
t-shirts, jeans or Capri’s (that they can dance in) and any athletic
shoes. Boys can wear cargo type shorts but girls should only wear
jeans or Capri’s (no shorts or skorts or mini-skirts or skirts of any
kind for the girls). No writing or slogans on clothing. After the
opening song, they will change into their regular choir outfits – the
same as they wore for the Christmas Concert and the PTO
demonstration…the girls should still have hose from that last
performance. If you have questions about the opening song
outfits…email Mrs. Moth at amoth@stmm.org.
May 13: Fourth and
Fifth Grade Choirs
