***Our pledge is to Move your kids and elevate their heart rates!*** Also: * Establish a positive, safe learning environment for all students * Teach a variety of physical activities that make P.E. enjoyable * Maximize opportunities for students of all abilities to succeed * Promote student honesty, integrity and good sportsmanship * Guide students into becoming skillful and confident movers * Facilitate the development and maintenance of physical * Assist students in setting and achieving personal goals * Provide specific, constructive feedback to help students master motor skills Physical education can provide the basic skills, knowledge and attitudes that promote an active lifestyle, but you the parents can set an example by being an active family that will facilitate a lifetime of good health. We are challenging ALL our students to MOVE and elevate their heart rates for a total of one hour every day. Will you take the challenge too? Remember eat lots and lots of fruits and vegetables to keep you healthy and fit. Drink lots of milk to build strong bones. Get outside everyday. Run or jump rope in your spare time. Running every day is a very good way to build strength and agility.
