The Altar Server ministry is open to boys and girls beginning in the 4th grade. This important ministry includes lighting candles, carrying the cross, holding the presider’s ritual book, assisting with the preparation of the altar, and other related tasks. Interested students (and their parents/guardians) must attend an initial training session, sign a service commitment letter, and attend mass regularly. The annual time commitment is 15-20 hours per year.
