Students in grades 1-3 are invited to spend Friday afternoons reading aloud and discussing what they read. They will then take Accelerated Reader tests to practice comprehension skills. The students will learn test-taking skills and gain confidence reading aloud both with the teacher and in small groups. Each student will bring their own AR book or they can obtain appropriate reading level books from the school library after school.
