This committee lends support to families at time of death by offering donations of food to families after funeral services. Volunteers may be asked for food donations 2 to 3 times a year. No meetings are held.

Bereavement Mailing

This is a great ministry for someone who likes to independently on their own schedule. St. Margaret Mary sends a series of four booklets during the first year after someone has lost a loved one. This mailing is sent to parishioners, family members, and those who have let us know they are in need. St. Margaret Mary will provide the booklets, envelopes and postage. Bereavement Follow-up

This is a new pastoral outreach ministry. We would like to create a team of people who would follow up with people who have lost a loved one. This ministry can be done remotely and on your schedule. The outreach would include doing an initial assessment of needs and support and periodically calling and checking on the person during their first year of loss.
