This group promotes the sacredness and goodness of human life by following the groundwork of Catholic Social Teaching from conception to natural death. Concerns include abortion, capital punishment, euthanasia, family and marriage, healthcare, housing, just wages, poverty, immigration, peace and nonviolence, religious liberty, etc. This committee strives to promote respect for life and peace and justice through education, advocacy, and special projects throughout the year. Current outreach is focused on supporting the Little Way Pregnancy Resource Center. CLI is organized with three subcommittees: Human Life, Family Life, and Social Justice; the leaders of the subcommittees form a CLI Board, which oversees the ministry. The subcommittees and Board meet as needed. There is one General Meeting for all the members each year.
