Caregivers Need Care Too
Transform family caregiving into a journey of abundant blessing. Nourish for Caregivers is for anyone juggling the challenges of life, health, and career, while caring for a disabled child, or an aging or ailing parent, spouse, or grandparent, either in town or at a distance. Nourish for Caregivers feeds family caregivers with on-going monthly sessions that involve prayer, digging deep into specific topics that caregivers struggle with nearly every day, while providing a faith perspective as well as practical and emotional supports, tools and shared experiences. With its faith component, Nourish for Caregivers is a pastoral and evangelization tool, bringing family caregivers into the Church and deeper into a relationship with Jesus.
Nourish for Caregivers — a program for those caring for an aging parent, spouse or loved one — meets at St. Margaret Mary Church’s Spirituality Center, 7813 Shelbyville Road, every second Wednesday of the month from 7 -8 p.m. You can also join by Zoom. The dates and topics for 2024 are listed below. To register and to receive the Zoom link, contact Denise Ruiz at druiz@stmm.org or call 690-2834 for more information.
