*Training Program for Pastoral Care to the Sick
Have you ever considered becoming more active in ministering to the sick but are uncertain where to begin? The Archdiocese of Louisville Family Ministries Office is offering a six-part Training Program to help anyone learn how to better help out in this important ministry for those who minister to the sick in hospitals, nursing homes, or to the homebound.
The training will take place at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Community at 7813 Shelbyville Road Louisville, KY 40222 in the Pastoral Center on six consecutive Thursday evenings from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
March 3 – Introduction to Pastoral Care
March 10 – Pastoral Communication Skills
March 17 – Prayer
March 24 – Understanding Loss & Grief
March 31 – Self-Awareness/Boundaries
April 7 –Taking Communion to the Sick & Homebound
