I have had several parishioners reach out to me following Governor Beshear’s announcement regarding “in person” church services starting Wednesday, May 20th. No directions were given in his initial televised announcement, and I fully expect that in the near future we will receive guidance from the Archbishop and his staff on how we might begin opening our church to public Mass and prayers. As I hear more information, we will keep you posted as we all ache for the opportunity to return to Mass and Holy Communion, and to do it in a safe and reverential way. Do keep Archbishop and one another in your prayers during this time of ongoing discernment. Keep checking our website and look for emails.
I remain at your service,
Fr. Bill
REMINDER: Renewal of Dedication of our Nation to the Care of our Blessed Mother — TODAY @ 3:00 PM EDT
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic gripping our world, Archbishop Kurtz is inviting all of us to join with Archbishop José H. Gomez of Los Angeles and president of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) as Archbishop Gomez leads a liturgy of the renewal of the consecration of the United States to the care of our Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of the Church and Queen of Peace. This liturgy will take place on Friday, May 1, 3:00 p.m. EDT and will be available on the USCCB website, here or at the Archdiocese of Los Angeles webpage, here. For the liturgy guide, click here.
Have you been recently unemployed or underemployed due to the COVID-19 shutdown? If so, you are not alone. This 6-session program will help you connect with one another and your faith during this very difficult time. We will explore how God is inviting us to be a part of building the kingdom. How are we called to serve our family, friends, neighbors and community members when we aren’t drawing a paycheck? How can we be the best disciples while waiting for a furlough to end and the economy to bounce back? Even in challenging times, God is still working in our lives and inviting us to new life.
This is an online group that is open to everyone and will meet on Tuesdays & Thursdays at 3:00 p.m. starting May 5 and ending May 21. Please contact Denise Ruiz to register or if you have questions at druiz@stmm.org

We have been opening up the church everyday usually by 8:00 a.m. for personal visits during the daytime, which is an opportunity for personal prayer or even personal devotions. However, during our live-stream of weekday Mass from 10-10:30 a.m. and 2:00-3:00 p.m. the church remains closed and locked. On Thursdays, the Church will be closed and locked from 10-Noon for daily Mass and recording of the weekend’s Mass. If you find the church to be locked, the most likely reason is because we are recording the coming weekend’s Mass. If you find it locked by mistake, please visit the Parish Office to have someone open it for you.
Click here to find & watch our daily and weekend Masses. Our daily Masses are live-streamed on Facebook and YouTube weekdays at 10:00 a.m. This weekend’s Mass will be available online for you to watch tomorrow, May 2nd at 5:00 PM. You can find the link via Facebook, our website, and in an email sent right to your inbox an hour before. Please know that you may submit your contributions online, mail in or drop off to the Parish Office or in the night drop outside the main entrance.
You are now able to submit your contributions ONLINE. This is a safe & secure way to continue your pledge and support for St. Margaret Mary. You are still welcome to mail in or drop off your donation to the Parish Office or in the locked night drop outside the main entrance to the Parish building. *All current automatic withdrawals are continuing as scheduled. We do encourage parishioners to sign up for the automatic service. The form for that is available online as well. This way of contributing benefits SMM the most because the fees are very minimal.*
Due to COVID-19, the Parish Office has changed their hours. Most employees will be working from home for precautionary measures. A staff member or two are often coming in for part of the day and when in the office are answering the phones or door bell in the airlock. If you need to speak to a staff member, call us at 426-1588. Or click here for a list of our employees and their emails. We remain at your service.
