*Available to watch anytime after 5:00 p.m. today*
Dear St. Margaret Mary Family Members,
The lack of access to Mass is a major burden for many of us, but with the help of technology we were able to record me offering Mass with the Sunday readings. You may watch this weekend’s Mass, by clicking the image above or button below, through the parish website, Facebook, or click here. This will be the last pre-recorded Mass for Sunday. Going forward, Masses will be livestreamed each Saturday evening Mass at 5:00 p.m. through Facebookand YouTube.
Hopefully you have read Archbishop Kurtz’s letter to all the faithful of our Archdiocese in the Record, but I wish to include some words of my own. Clicking on the link below, you will find our plans to resume the public celebration of the Mass. Please understand there may need to be revisions after the experience of our first weekend. We all rely on our prayers for one another and for the gift of discernment from the Holy Spirit. Let us be patient with one another and serve Christ in one another and for the common good of all.
A reminder, even with allowing for the celebration of “public” Mass, Archbishop Kurtz has issued a dispensation from the obligation to attend Mass on Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation for the Archdiocese of Louisville, until further notice. Anyone who is sick or living with someone who is sick or who feels vulnerable in any way should stay home. St. Margaret Mary will continue offering live-streamed Masses at 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays which would then be uploaded for later viewing, for those who cannot be physically present. Visit our website www.stmm.org or get our weekly email updates. Or you can watch “Mass of the Air” on TV.
